I recently had the pleasure of staying at Calthwaite Lodges and dining at the Globe pub, and I must say, both exceeded my high expectations. the staff at the pub were not only attentive but also incredibly friendly, making our dining experience exceptional. the Sunday roast beef was truly 'melt in the mouth' and paired perfectly with the local lager on offer. the lodge itself was equipped with everything we needed, from a well-sized fridge and freezer to comfortable beds and two bathrooms. the hot tub outside was a fantastic addition, and we were even shown how to use it upon arrival. Overall, Calthwaite Lodges provided us with a memorable and enjoyable stay, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
